The lovebirds are moving their nest.

We are moving across town next to the Cardinals stadium. It should be a party. We're actually excited because they are really nice and the chicken is chipper.

Last night I cleaned out my closet. I have 2 large garbage bags full of tasty morsel items. Instead of sending them to Goodwill I'm going to be a star and mail them to my bracita dearies. There are some real doozys, believe me.

Tonight John brought me toffee he got at work.

I have secretly been feeding my mister vegan meals. He loves everything I've made so far. Maybe I'll convert him yet.

Kidding. Mostly. I would never push it on him. Much.

I promise I'm not an annoying vegan.

I'm actually a sinner vegan. Cheese and butter get me everytime.

ps. would anyone like to recommend a book for me? I'm fresh out.

Today is the day. I am ready for some major downsizing in the closet department.

I'm excited for tonight. John and I are going to watch Taken and Valkyrie. And we're going to cuddle and maybe do some kissing. What's better than that? Nothing.

Amazing lightning storm.

John and I enjoyed watching the lightning show on our patio last night. There's nothing like Arizona storms. The lightning is incredible and the rain pours like crazy.

I'm really looking forward to monsoon season in September!

Watermelon night.

Vintage clock.

This vintage clock was my Grandma Hall's.
I took a paint brush to it and made it my favorite color. My Grandma owned a lot of clocks. (I mean LOTS.) This is the one I picked. And I rather like it.

Right now I'm working on a different kind of painting. One for my family that has taken me over 50 hours so far.

Lazy Sunday afternoon.

My favorite thing to do on a beautiful Sunday afternoon.
Eat Chocolate.
With clean laundry everywhere.
Just sitting with my man, talking about the future, making plans, worry free for a day. That's what Sunday's are for!

An Oldsmobile named Betsy.

John had a day off today. So we took on the honkin' task of cleaning out his very old, very faithful, very dead Oldsmobile. Besides the fact that we had a bumload of junk in there from our honeymoon 2.5 years ago and it was 4958230957346t7843 degrees outside, it was a party.

We found some treasures.

It's just one of those days.

Not to be funny or anything, but I think Betsy passed on to be with Boy Blue (my dead and buried Oldsmobile.) They made a great couple. RIP you two lovebirds you.

It's my Mama's birthday today.

I was cantankerous today.
But lucky me...John still gave me lots of kisses and told me I was the coolest, most beautiful girl he knows.

Right now John is talking to me in his sleep from the couch.
He's discussing how airplanes are cozy like ghosts and tissue boxes and that as the sky captain he'll need gummy worms for breakfast.
