2 years

On Wednesday the 18th our little marriage turned 2. I feel like I've known John my whole lifetime so 2 years seem so short. We celebrated that night by going to one of our favorites, Texas Roadhouse and the next day we saw Forbidden Broadway at Phoenix Theater.

Let me just say that John is the best thing that's ever happened to me. He brings balance and stability to my life. I love him more than anything.

Mooned.

John and I packed up the Sizzler and drove to Lake Pleasant for a star gazing party. There were a bunch of enthusiasts with mondo telescopes. We learned lots of interesting facts about the stars and got to see the sky up close. Our favorites were the 7 Sisters, Andromeda, the Ring Nebula, and the moon. Check out the moon herself...

Impressed? No? Now this is a good picture of the moonimus maximus:

All these were taken with my camera. The first one was taken with the naked lens and with these others, I put my camera up to the telescope and bam! This is what I got.

This is the Teddy Bear Cholla. Would you want to cuddle with that bad boy?

On our way home we stopped by IHOP for some hot chocolate.

Heath Ledger is da bomb.

Heath Ledger has a special spot in my heart. John and I love his movies. After I watch his last film The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus I will have seen all his movies. I'm a ginormo fan. He was an AMAZING actor. Not to mention a fashion icon...

I mean, how can you not love Heath's outfit? Delectable. Check the boots, paired with the hot red socks. Genius. Those pants are a delight to behold. Cut off jean capris for men, who knew? I think John had that exact shirt in 8th grade, but never mind, it goes so well with his hat...thing. Oh well, at least he's not keeping his wallet in his front pocket. Oh...

Well, I still love him nevertheless. We are going to be buddy ol pals in heaven. Maybe he'll even give me some fashion pointers. Yes!

Boo.

Happy Halloween.
John and I were stoked to get little trick-or-treaters at our house. We loaded up on candy, put a sign outside our door that said, "trick-or-treaters welcome!!!" and we waited. And waited. And waited. We didn't get a single one :(:(:( Boo. And not in the scary way.

We went to a haunted house which was pretty scary...for me. Then we went home and watched 88 Minutes. Still no tricksters or treaters but it's prolly because we have a gated apartment. DANG IT!

Our candy bowl at the end of the night. :(
