i thought i'd write a few thoughts on this last year of the decade. 2009 was one of the most difficult years of my life. i think it's been a tough one for many people. my family dealt with personal sorrows and the reason i got through them was because they were by my side. i've never felt closer to my dear family. i cherish them so much. most days i want to tell them how much i love them and just enjoy being in the same room with them. i want them to know that they are the most important thing to me. my husband and my family are everything to me!

2009:

i saw the most amazing lightning storms

i tried to be more crafty

i was blessed to witness one of my best friends be married

my lovely little grandma died

i prepared to start a business but decided to finish school first

i rocked a mullet

john and i went to a tea party

i decided i want to have 7 children

john and i moved from arizona to utah

i decided to strive for veganism

i went back to school

my sister brittney started her business

my sister aubrey amazed me

i bought my first gun

john turned 26 years old

i turned 23 years old

i became an aunt again, three times!

i tried to enjoy the little things in life

john and i celebrated 3 years together

i visited nyc for the first time

my testimony of christ grew

i somehow managed to love my family even more

i decided to start a blog on my personal style

i fell in love with my husband again and again and again

and something that i tried very hard to do was to live by this advice

i have a really good feeling about 2010. it will be a year full of changes and i'm ready for it.

feeling festive.

john and i don't really have any christmas traditions because we've always either been in texas or staying with my parents. all this is just lame grinchy excuses.

this year we're going to nyc to visit john's sister and her husband and two little kiddies. we can't wait to see them!
